Phew, really difficult to say. I'm afraid it won't fully vanish, especially in times where I still have 20 "Which UI/UX is better?" posts in my LinkedIn feed every day.

However, what we can do is continue to spread the word about this topic, educate, and really insist on not using the wrong terminology. At my job, whenever someone asks about the "UX team", I, for one, always reply "What do you mean? There is no UX team, just a Product Design team." And while people seem pretty annoyed with that, I think it helps a little. 😄

If we all continuously do that we might be able to contribute to ending the craze ...
